Privacy statement

Last updated: June 2026 · draft

Powercrumbs B.V. respects your privacy and processes personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This statement describes which data we collect when you complete the fossil replacement scan or get in touch, and what your rights are.

What data we collect

  • Contact details you provide yourself: name, organisation and business email address.
  • Scan context: the situation and choices you describe in the scan (segment, duration, power, grid connection, proof requirement, timing) and the route derived from them.
  • Technical data: source/referring page and browser data, as far as needed to process your request.

What we use them for

Only to link your scan result to your situation and to contact you about a possible route. No newsletter, no sale to third parties, no profiling for advertising.

Legal basis

Your consent (which you give explicitly when you submit the scan) and our legitimate interest in responding to your request. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Who we share them with

Your scan request is processed through Aivio, the platform Powercrumbs uses to follow up on requests, which acts as a processor on our behalf. We don't share your data with other third parties unless the law requires it.

Retention period

We keep your data no longer than needed to follow up on your request and to meet our administrative obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, and the right to object. Send your request to info@powercrumbs.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

This is a draft version supporting the scan flow. The final, legally reviewed privacy statement (naming the processor agreements and the exact retention periods) follows before go-live.
